Volunteer Activities

Volunteering is a great way to to learn new skills, refresh old ones, meet new people and give back to the community. Like many community organisations we depend on our volunteers to help run a wide range of groups and activities.

Some volunteer roles require regular commitment while others can be more flexible. We have lots of opportunities available from helping with our office admin,we are always looking for extra people who wish to lend a helping hand.

We simply would not be able to protect historic churches without the support and commitment of our volunteers.

Volunteers in all of our work

Without volunteers, the organisation would not be able to care for its churches, raise the funds it requires, welcome the thousands of visitors to its churches, and develop vital links to local communities..

Our commitment is to make sure that volunteers have the chance to play a role in every aspect of our life as an organisation – from the vital jobs caring for local churches to taking decisions about the future direction of the organisation.

We hold various volunteer and training events throughout the country, throught the year - from learning conservation skills and event management to just meeting other volunteers in your region.
